My name is Brandi Tabor. My mom decided to take me skating when I was 4 years old and I have being skating continuously every weekend since. This sport has been a life saver for me. I could have easily lost my way but my skate family helped me stay on the right path. I have worked for Three Fountains Skating Rink for 30 years and I am still thrilled to go to my rink job daily. I have dabbed a little in artistic skating, (it wasn't enough adrenaline for me) so I started speed skating. This allowed me to complete nationally and visit places and skating rinks all over. I won the regional championships twice and also won a national speed skating championship. After I reached my goals in speed skating I took interest in shuffle/bounce skating. This is when I met a whole new skate family who is still dear to my heart today. In my many years of being involved is skating and the rink I love, I have seen to many of our younger generation get lost. My journey has led me to encourage our younger generation to get off the streets and on the skates. My skate family, old and new have a goal. My goal is to teach the young and respect and appreciate the older generation. I want to continue the movement of skate families around the world to come together and make the sport available to everyone in every city.
