Charles Davis

My name is Charles Davis. I'm a frequent skater from South Carolina that found a genuine love for the 8s after attending Joi's Skate-a-thon in Atlanta, Ga in 2001. I have a strong desire to own a skating rink in Columbia, SC to further cultivate my love for the art. I also want to be able to influence new skaters in their quest to become avid Rollers. My best skate moment occurred recently when I had the pleasure of, with the assistance of others, hosting a reunion for skaters in the area that stopped skating after the closure of our rink; Red Wing Rollerway. Just the smiling faces of folks reuniting was enough for me to want to continue to bring folks together so that another rink will realize our love for skating enough and not let another rink close. My worse moment was when, as a new skater, I fell in front of the dj booth and got clowned in public, so embarrassing.

As a moderator I will be a supporter of the group's effort to bring awareness and positivity to skaters that may not be as aware. I'm a rolling motivator!
I love rolling to Trans Europe Express and The Rainmakers.
