S.I.N. Community Engagement (Moderator) West Columbia S.C.

My name is Frank R. Patterson I've been skating for about 38 years now.  I'm 54 years old and I got my start on skates with my oldest brother and his wife at Trotter Rd  Skating Rink.
We skated every Sunday night.  I am very passionate about my skating.  It's a love that I've had for many many years and if you know me or have seen me skating, I get into a zone.  Sometimes I even catch myself with my eyes closed while I'm skating I feel so much passion from the music.
When I'm skating the music just runs through my body to the floor and sometimes I can't even explain what steps I'm doing because it just automatically happens.
I always share with everybody if you want to do it just do it.  Make it your own and enjoy it.  Have fun with it.  You have to put in work in order to get results on the skate floor.  If it doesn't hurt or if it's not hard you do the math.  But I always encourage each skater to be safe.  Safety first.  Stay in your space or lane and protect yourself, as well as,  other skaters.  Look out for each other.
Thanks for the promotion as I will do the best to help promote the skate culture.
