Face Mask, Face Mask... Blah, Blah, Blah. The Debate
WEARING MASK

I recently read a post in one of the online Facebook Groups, and a skater asked the question. "Why are people so concerned about who wears or not?"

And while I don't want to entertain being so biased, I still have to say these three words, and it ain't I Love You. It's New York State, and when you break it down further, it ended up being New York City.

Sirens blaring through the night, eerr' damn night. And to the likes of about 6 that would race down the road to someone in distress.

This discussion is here for ALL Skaters to speak about this sensitive topic. What we want to achieve is Grown Folks having a "Healthy" Discussion about face mask. We don't have to hard, we definitely don't want to be rude or disrespectful of the next person's opinion on the subject.

The goal is for all to have a speaking voice to be heard, and to also politely, hear the perspectives of all. What we do as skaters in our respective communities, will ultimately impact the outcomes. "That would be 1. how successful we are with rinks across the nation as they open up...and 2. how the rinks and skate community are managing, and staying safe.

Feel free to post here.

Disclaimer: This post is not with intent to create a tense hostile debate on who's right or wrong, related to face mask/coverings. We are all entitle to do as we see fit. Just respect each other in the forum. If a skater becomes offensive in nature, it will be a one strike you're out Rule. In other words...you don't get another shot to do the right thing. Just do what's right at all time. RESPECT

And BTW... The skaters response. "IF people are so concerned that we are not wearing face coverings, then don't come here."

Live, Love & Rollerskate
